Sub + am/is/are + V-ing + Obj

"The chef is cooking the meal."

Passive Voice

The Receiver

The action is happening to the Object right now.

Obj + am/is/are + BEING + V3

"The meal is being cooked by the chef."

Rule 1: Switch Places

Object moves to front. Subject moves to end. This part is standard.

Rule 2: Add 'BEING'

This is crucial! You must add being after am/is/are to show it continues.

Rule 3: V-ing → V3

Change the -ing verb to Past Participle (V3).
e.g., cooking → cooked.
